Travelport, a global technology company that powers bookings for hundreds of thousands of travel suppliers worldwide, has signed a new content distribution agreement with easyJet, Europe’s leading airline. This agreement expands easyJet content to all types of agency customers globally, including online travel agencies (OTAs) for the first time.
As part of this agreement, travel retailers using Travelport+ will have access to all easyJet fare types and bundles, including ancillaries, without any agency channel restrictions. This means that agents will be able to offer travelers a wider range of options, including easyJet’s Standard Plus fare bundles (including seat selection and large cabin bag) and Essential fare bundles (including seat selection and checked bag). These bundles complement the existing fares of Standard, Business Inclusive, and Flexi.
This expanded content will also make it easier for agents to upsell and personalize offers for their travelers. Travelport’s enhanced servicing capabilities will also ensure that agents can seamlessly manage easyJet bookings, including modifications and exchanges.
Benefits for travelers:
- More choice: Travelers will have access to a wider range of easyJet fare options, including bundles that include extras like seat selection and checked baggage.
- Personalized experiences: Agents will be able to tailor easyJet offers to individual travelers’ needs and preferences.
- Seamless booking and management: Travelers can book and manage their easyJet trips through a single platform, regardless of whether they are booking through a travel agency or online.
