Dubai’s budget carrier FlyDubai soared to new heights in 2023, reporting a record-breaking profit of $572 million. This impressive jump, a 75% increase over 2022, was fueled by carrying the most passengers ever across its network: 13.8 million, surpassing its pre-pandemic high of 11 million.
“Building on our strong performance, we surpassed all pre-pandemic levels to achieve the most profitable year in the airline’s history,” said Ghaith al-Ghaith, FlyDubai’s CEO. This strong rebound highlights Dubai’s booming tourism industry and the airline’s successful strategy.
