Hotelbeds, a global leader in the travel industry, has proudly announced the appointment of Sagrario Fernández as its new General Counsel. In this pivotal role, Sagrario will take the reins of the Legal, Company Secretary, and Governance, Risk, and Compliance teams, directly reporting to CEO Nicolas Huss.
As an esteemed member of the company’s Executive Committee, Sagrario will wield her extensive legal and compliance expertise garnered from senior roles in prominent multinational corporations. Drawing on her background in various leadership roles at firms like Prosegur Cash and Indra, where she tackled IPO processes and gained profound experience in M&A and capital markets transactions, she will provide strategic leadership that will steer Hotelbeds towards new horizons.

Before joining Hotelbeds, Sagrario adorned the role of General Counsel and Vice Secretary of the Board of Directors at the renowned Spanish retail titan, DIA Group. Over her nearly three-decade-long career, she has been at the helm of several senior legal and compliance positions, including stints at El Corte Inglés Group, and has contributed her legal acumen to three publicly-listed firms.
